Do you have a minimum order amount?

We don’t have any minimum order for pick up. There is a $40 minimum order for delivery.

How far do you deliver?

Quite a way! Our delivery radius covers all of orange metropolitan area (with a $7 delivery fee). We cover outside of town too. (up to 5km out, with a $10 delivery fee).

How long does it take?

It normally takes us about 30min to arrange your pick-up order, and about an extra 15-20min to deliver it out to you, depending on demand. We have our drivers on site (we don’t use third party companies), so we can send orders as soon as they’re ready.

Can I pre-order?

Absolutely! You can set a delivery time or date in advance. Just select the time and date when you do your order.

Can I use my gift voucher?

During the time that we are operating as a pick-up and delivery business we are allowing people with existing vouchers, and indeed newly purchased vouchers, to use them. Currently, we have no way of processing vouchers through our online ordering system. We ask that you still order and pay online as normal. You can then send a quick email to sweetsoursaltorange@gmail.com with the voucher number, and contact details. We will process a refund to the voucher amount.

Can I buy Alcohol?

Liquor licencing has changed the rules so that restaurants can deliver alcohol with food orders. You can order alcoholic drinks through the drinks section on our ordering site. Buying wine online through us not only supports us, but also the local vineyards, who have also seen a large drop in business. We are also selling wine at cellar door prices, not restaurant prices. It's our way of supporting the vineyards and offering great value to our customers. 
 Please note: Our delivery staff hold RSA certificates and will not supply to minors or intoxicated persons).


One last note:

Whilst Sweet Sour Salt has always held rigorous hygiene standards, the back and front of house teams have met to discuss extra measures required to minimise the threat of COVID-19 in our restaurant, thereby protecting our most important assets, our customers and staff. All our chefs and drivers are upholding the highest standards of hygiene. Drivers are washing hands and sanitising equipment between routes/orders. We are taking these new measures into our stride and taking them seriously. We feel the service we are providing is of ongoing importance to the community, that we have a responsibility to protect, as well as serve.
